I've lost count of the number of times I have run this route, and it is my favourite. The funny thing is that I never run it backwards. All the time I have tried, I have gone wrong which seem crazy.
Today I am pretty sure I will have it cracked. The interesting thing is, that you notice so much more. I didn't realise how close to The Gherkin it takes you. I didn't realise the fantastic Stonework on Leadenhall Market and so much more.
In the end the execution was perfect. Maybe now I can do it a few more times "backwards"
The pace and form felt good.
