Hot late 10km

It is a heat wave at the moment.  Around 30 celsius during the day.  Even though I feel tired, I man-up and head out to do the 10k to Hayes and back.

At first it is hard.  I still feel viral and tired.  But I keep on.  Gradually on the way back things pick up.  As I get older and more experienced I am able to keep on going through the hard bits until the clouds disperse and the sun comes out again.

In the end a solid 10km and when I get back, despite wearing my running vest I disappear into a pool of sweat.
