I get the train to Lewisham to run back from there. Not planning anything too fast as I am still recovering from my cold. About 1km I stub my toe. Not sure why it happened, but it hurts. After stubbing it a few times recently I need to be careful not to end up with a weakness.
I did not push the pace, but I feel my fitness and form are good. The lungs still feel a little scarred from the recent cold. Plenty of phlegm to dispose of on route.
When I reach Shortlands high street I start to open up a little more. I power up the hill back to my house. I feel good, and glad I made the run.
