I decide to run to Lewsiham and then DLR it the rest of the way for my journey to work. The run up my road (which is a hill) is really hard. However as I enter Beckenham Place Park my mood changes. Running though the woods is magic but it's starting to get overgrown.
Out the otherside, I start to feel the heat in the concrete jungle. I battle on and towards the end I even pick up speed. Still it's a relief to make Lewisham DLR.
