I need to get the long runs going. Tomorrow I have one scheduled with Chris from the club. To avoid embarrassment and not being able to hold the pace I decide to take today's run home easy. A quick 4.5km back from Grove Park.
I start off and it is bitterly, bitterly cold. My nose hurts. I settle into the pace and enjoy. After a little was I realise that I had not started my stopwatch, but really the time was not going to be good or bad.
I manage the steps over the railway bridge and the hill up to the church fairly easily.
4.5km 27mins?
